Canton's 4th of July Parade Celebrate Independence Day with Canton's annual 4th of July Parade on Thursday, July 4, starting at 10am. The parade route runs through downtown Canton, beginning at Canton Elementary School and ending at The Mill on Etowah. Expect floats, marching bands, and community groups. Arrive by 9:30am to secure a good viewing spot. Free admission. Location: Downtown Canton, parade begins at Canton Elementary School, 712 Marietta Highway, Canton, GA

Screen on the Green at Etowah River Park Pack your lawn chairs and blankets for Canton's free outdoor movie series at Etowah River Park. Movies begin at sunset (approximately 8:30pm) with pre-movie activities starting at 7pm. This July's schedule includes:

  • Tuesday, July 2: The Sandlot
  • Tuesday, July 16: Inside Out
  • Tuesday, July 23: Moana 2 Location: Etowah River Park, 600 Brown Industrial Parkway, Canton, GA

River Rock Concert Series Canton's River Rock Concert Series at Etowah River Park features live music under the stars. The summer lineup includes:

  • Friday, June 21: The Wildflowers (Tom Petty tribute band), 7pm-10pm
  • Friday, July 19: Shyanne, 7pm-10pm
  • Friday, August 16: Southern Accent (Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute), 7pm-10pm Gates open at 6pm. Tickets are $10 per person, with children under 12 free. Bring lawn chairs and blankets. Food vendors will be on site. Location: Etowah River Park, 600 Brown Industrial Parkway, Canton, GA

Canton's First Fridays Downtown Canton transforms on the first Friday of each month from May through October (June 7, July 5, August 2, September 6, October 4), from 6pm-10pm. Main Street closes to traffic, and the area becomes a vibrant block party with live music, food trucks, and local vendors. Free admission. Location: Downtown Canton, Main Street, Canton, GA

Canton Farmers Market Every Saturday morning from May through September, 9am-1pm, the Canton Farmers Market offers fresh produce, handmade goods, and local treats. Free admission. Location: Cannon Park, 130 E Main Street, Canton, GA
